My  favourite Painter

                   My favourite painter is "Soliyas Medis". He is a famous artist in Sri Lanka. He was born on 06th October 1897 in Madampe. We can see Anuradapura and Polonnaru clasical arts technics in his art creations. He was educated "Maravila temple" about "pali sanskrit languages. Can see his famous arts creations in many temples. Among them, "Polonnaruwa", "Lenagampola", and  "Maddepola" temples are important. In addition, Soliyas Mendis's had most important art creations are "Kelaniya" temple. Furthermore, he educated about art of "Ajantha and Ellora" in India. He met indian art teacher "Nandalal Bos" and take adviced about art. 

                      After, he developed in arts most and this all based for the success "Kelani" temple arts. He had started to draw arts "Kelani" temple in 1932. There 14 years spent for it. Buddhist and historical stories are based for this arts. 

 
                      We can see very excellent, emotional feelings, that of liveliness, colour mix technic, valuable, indian art style, that of sacredness.

                       In this arts have most important things to learn us. This art creations show valuable in Sri Lanka arts forever. Soliyas Mendis died on 02nd September 1975. Then he is 78 years.

                       Soliyas Mendis is immortal forever in the world.
